American Ballroom Basics Adult Jump-In dance classes are perfect for newcomers to Ballroom and is also good for those wanting to refresh and review. In these classes you will learn the basics of steps, rhythm, arm work, and lead/follow techniques.

Each dance is taught for four weeks. Our teachers are some of the best: Ian, Arpad and Mark.

American Ballroom Bronze adult dance classes are for those who have the fundamentals under their belt and are progressing through their bronze level of dance. Steve and Ian cover the basics for both American Smooth and Rhythm progressing through technique, balance, and basic patterns from both a Leader and Follower perspective. Both Smooth and Rhythm classes are available:

Jump-In Class

Hustle is a dance that can be done to all kinds of popular dance music: Pop, House, Funk, Remix, Latin or Disco music.

The Beginner adult dance classes are best suited for newcomers or those at the basic beginner level. You will get an understanding of the music and the basic concept of moving on the floor doing simple turn patterns.

Hustle boot camp with Steve & Annie focuses on the same theme/patterns for 4 weeks at a time. The class is technique based and aimed towards students with basic hustle foundation.

Intermediate Hustle class is for those ready to amp up their hustle patterns and technique. The dance will be broken down into its core fundamentals for you to apply to any future turn patterns.

Shag is the swing dance with southern charm. Born in the 1950’s in the Carolinas, Shag was the answer to the Beach Music growing out of the region and remains the state dance of both North and South Carolina to this day. Now Shag is being danced all over North America by people of all ages and to music ranging from 1950’s and ‘60’s R & B and Soul to contemporary Top 40. Dancers love Shag for its flow and smooth movement as well as its intricate and playful footwork and the space, even within the basics, for them to improvise as an individual in a partner dance, even though the Shag is a strongly lead dance. Dancers of other genres, especially Swing dances, will be familiar with some of the technique, while a beginner dancer will find that this is a perfect dance to introduce a love of and success in their other partner dance lessons.

These ballroom dance lessons are for anyone who is familiar with their basic bronze figures in the International style and wish to challenge what they already know.

International Silver ballroom dance lessons are suited for those with bronze experience in the 10 dances and wanting to take it to the next level. Annie will take you through the fundamental techniques and incorporate them within the silver figures.

West Coast Swing adult dance classes are fun and flirty classes. West Coast Swing can be danced to a wide variety of music such as R&B, POP, Blues, and Soul, which allows for a great variety of personal expression.
