Joy of Dance Centre in Toronto has not only added the Silver level to its International Ballroom instruction, it has added the Gold level as well with renowned teacher Olé Burlay.

“Achieving this level of dance is an enormous accomplishment,” says Jennifer Jones, CEO of Joy of Dance Centre. “To be able to offer this level of instruction to the Toronto Ballroom community with such an outstanding champion and teacher is a proud moment and overdue.”
While there is many dance studios in Toronto, few are able to offer the sophistication of Silver and Gold levels of International Ballroom Dance with the caliber of teacher such as Olé.

“While we are about the dance,” says Jennifer, “we are also very much about presenting simply the best in a warm, welcoming and professional environment.  This is our way of saying to our students that we hear them and do everything we can to ensure an exhilarating and joyful dance experience.”
Olé is just one of the many accredited teachers at Joy of Dance Centre. He has been competing in professional dance for over ten years and holds the status of being six time undefeated winner at the Amateur Championships in Ukraine in Ballroom and Latin dance as well as a finalist of the Open European Professional Ballroom and Latin Championships. Olé is a current member of the Canadian Dance Teachers Association (CDTA). He has also received the award of top teacher for 5 years running at the Crystal Leaf International Dancesport Championship.

For those of you who may not know, the Bronze level is the beginner or first stage of Ballroom dance whether it is International or American. Silver is the second level and represents advanced patterns and concepts. The Gold level is the third complete level of the International Ballroom Syllabus, and represents the very advanced patterns and concepts. Gold is generally not a level associated with social dancing and is used for advanced competitive dancing.
“To reach the gold level is to finally enjoy the refinements and skillfulness of ballroom dance like never before,” says Olé. “You can trust your technical knowledge and enjoy the ability to perform at the highest level with your partner.”

Silver and Gold classes begin this Friday, June 7, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. for International Standard style and 9:00 p.m. for Latin style at the Joy of Dance Centre.
Joy of Dance Centre is dedicated to the best in all things dance from Ballet to Ballroom. Located at 95 Danforth Ave., Joy of Dance is easily accessed via public transit or, if driving, public and street parking are available.
