Joy of Dance College is taking registrations for the next term of Ballroom Dance Teacher Education. What is unique about the College is that it is 100 per cent dedicated to Dance Teacher Training. While many colleges with a dance program offer Teacher Training certification, most are performance based with the Teacher Training offered as an optional course.
Joy of Dance College was founded in 2005. It is North America’s only certified Ballroom Dance Teacher College. It is registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005. Joy of Dance is also a proud member of Career College Ontario and National Association of Career Colleges.
Joy of Dance College takes you beyond ballroom dance Teacher Training and technique. It is a home to a community of dance teachers and students who are taking it to the next level. “Our promise is to ignite the passion, lay the foundation, and provide students with Ballroom dance teacher education, tools and skills that embody the very best of our knowledge, and experience,” says Jennifer Jones, Dean of Joy of Dance College. “What you learn at Joy of Dance College is what it takes to be an exceptional teacher. Our goal is to inspire and build confidence in a student’s teaching ability so they can learn it, love it and teach it. It is infectious and it is sustainable as a career.”
Joy of Dance College offers full and part-time certification programs for both International and American Ballroom dance at the bronze and silver levels. No previous experience is required at the bronze level; just a passion for dance.
